Quaker Steak & Lube® Takes Six Awards at The 2008 Fiery Food Challenge2007-09-17 19:07:48
Sharon, PA – Quaker Steak & Lube® has been recognized with six awards, three being Golden Chile Awards (First Place) by Chile Pepper Magazine in its 2008 Fiery Food Challenge at ZestFest held in Forth Worth, Texas.
The Fiery Food Challenge has more than 80 categories from salsa to apparel and is the longest running and most recognized competition in the zesty food world. Culinary expert judges sample every product through a series of blind tastings and the winners are announced at the awards ceremony during the week of Zestfest presented by Chile Pepper Magazine.
The following are the awards won by category:

- Medium 1st place — Quaker Steak & Lube, Arizona Ranch
Consumer Ready ~ Barbeque Sauce

- Mustard Base 2nd place — Quaker Steak & Lube, Honey Mustard
- Sweet Base 3rd place — Quaker Steak & Lube, BBQ
- Merchandise Specialty 3rd place — Quaker Steak & Lube, BBQ 4-pack
In addition to the Award-Winning sauces, Quaker Steak & Lube® has 15 other wing sauces.
