The Company Entered into a 10-Restaurant Deal for Northern New Jersey and Long Island
SHARON, Pa. – April 5, 2011 – Quaker Steak & Lube®, the motorsports-themed casual-dining family restaurant that has been bucking economic trends for the past two years, recently announced additional growth development plans for 2011. Lube It Up, LLC, a new franchisee joining the system, and QSL Franchising Corporation entered into a 10-restaurant area development agreement.
Quaker Steak & Lube® will roll out a combination of conversions and its new 7,700 square-foot prototype. The agreement states the areas to be developed are Northern New Jersey and Long Island. The first conversion will be located in Brick, NJ.

In addition to the major expansion with Lube It Up, LLC, Quaker Steak & Lube® also plans on opening at least 13 more locations, including three company restaurants across the United States throughout 2011. The company restaurants will include the first of the new full size prototype and an experimental “Mini-Lube.”
