SHARON, PA – The Award-Winning casual-dining concept Quaker Steak & Lube®, known for its Best Wings USA and more than 25 sauces, awarded Lube It Up with the coveted 2014 Franchisee of the Year Award at their annual franchise conference in Clearwater Beach, FL last month. Lube It Up owns and operates three Quaker Steak & Lube® restaurants in New Jersey. The Franchisee of the Year award recognizes a company for their continued efforts inspiring other franchisees, being a leader in the Quaker Steak & Lube® system, practicing advanced business ethics, and their loyal commitment to the Quaker Steak & Lube® brand.

This year’s awards ceremony was attended by nearly 280 people including 17 franchise owners, 38 general managers from corporate and franchise locations, 15 franchise representatives and 155 additional representatives from different companies.
In April, Quaker Steak & Lube® celebrated its 40th anniversary and now has more than 60 locations across 16 states and Canada. The compelling décor, including race cars suspended from the ceilings, motorcycles, Corvettes and motor-themed memorabilia, combined with its craveable food and SuperCharged events, has created a cult-like following for The Lube® for 40 years.
Most recently, Quaker Steak & Lube® was honored at the 2014 National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo,NY, winning first place for its Thai ‘R’ Cracker® sauce in the Creative Spicy sauce category and second place for its Triple Atomic sauce in the Best Extra-Hot sauce category.
